Each hide is unique, the leather wears in slowly, and it picks up a quiet patina over years rather than months.

FAQ

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. Each hide is unique, the leather wears in slowly, and it picks up a quiet patina over years rather than months.

FAQ

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make this round scale alligator strap in pairs from 12 to 24 mm (for example 20/18 or 22/20 mm) and in lengths from 105/65 to 135/105 mm for wrists of roughly 14 to 22.5 cm. Custom sizes are made to measure. See our size guide for step-by-step help.

How do I care for an alligator strap?

Wipe the scales with a soft, dry cloth, working along the scale pattern. Keep the strap away from soaking, swimming and direct heat, which can dull the finish and stiffen the hide; if it gets wet, blot it and let it air-dry naturally. Rotating it with another strap and storing it flat helps it keep its shape.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit. It keeps the raised natural scales but trades the usual sheen for a quiet, suede-like matte, and no two hides read exactly alike. It wears in slowly and develops a quiet character over years rather than months. Genuine alligator leather from CITES-documented hides, sourced from licensed tanneries.

FAQ

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make this alligator strap in pairs from 12 to 24 mm (for example 20/18 or 22/20 mm) and in lengths from 105/65 to 135/105 mm for wrists of roughly 14 to 22.5 cm. Custom sizes and longer lengths are made to measure. Brush it lightly in one direction with a soft nubuck brush to lift the surface, and avoid oils, creams and polish, which darken nubuck. If it gets wet, blot it gently and let it air-dry away from heat. Rotating it with another strap and storing it flat helps it keep its shape.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit.
