What it is known for is colour: the hide is dyed all the way through, so the shade looks lit from within and shifts as the light moves across it, in a way pressed-grain leathers never do. The trade is honesty. With no grain to hide behind, Swift shows a scratch where a pebbled leather would swallow it, and a light rub with a soft cloth usually settles one back in. Choose it for depth of colour, not for armour.

FAQ

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make this Swift calfskin strap in pairs from 12 to 24 mm (for example 20/18 or 22/20 mm) and in lengths from 105/65 to 135/105 mm for wrists of roughly 14 to 22.5 cm. Custom sizes are made to measure. See our size guide for step-by-step help.

How do I care for a smooth calfskin strap?

Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wear. A smooth calf surface can show a light scratch, and a gentle rub with a soft cloth usually settles it back in. Avoid swimming or soaking the strap; if it gets wet, blot it and let it air-dry away from direct heat. A little neutral conditioner a few times a year keeps it supple.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit. Orders over $350 ship free.
