Cut, edged and finished by hand as a single piece of work, from the first cut to the final burnish. Because the pattern belongs to the hide, no two straps are identical — the product photos show the exact piece you are buying.

Cut flat and slim so it sits close to the wrist and slides easily under a cuff. A soft Zermatt lining sits against the wrist. Every strap is cut and stitched to the size, buckle and finishing you specify. It has no raised bumps at all: a fine, even, faintly pebbled surface with a soft matte sheen. It is the quieter half of the same skin, and it behaves the same way in the hand: supple, strong for its weight, deep in colour.

FAQ

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make this smooth ostrich strap in pairs from 12 to 24 mm (for example 20/18 or 22/20 mm) and in lengths from 105/65 to 135/105 mm for wrists of roughly 14 to 22.5 cm. Custom sizes are made to measure. See our size guide for step-by-step help.

How do I care for ostrich leather?

Wipe the strap with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Ostrich is supple and hard-wearing, but avoid swimming or soaking it; if it gets wet, blot it and let it air-dry away from direct heat. A small amount of neutral leather conditioner a few times a year keeps it soft.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit. Orders over $350 ship free.
