Bend it and the colour lifts along the fold — the pull-up effect — then settles back darker than before. Scuffs rub out under a thumb. Over a year the strap carries a record of how it has been worn: lighter on the flex points, deeper at the lugs. If you want a strap that looks better used than new, this is the one.

FAQ

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make this waxed cowhide strap in pairs from 12 to 24 mm (for example 20/18 or 22/20 mm) and in lengths from 105/65 to 135/105 mm for wrists of roughly 14 to 22.5 cm. Custom sizes are made to measure. See our size guide for step-by-step help.

How do I care for waxed cowhide?

Waxed cowhide is made to be used: light scuffs usually rub back out with a thumb, and the colour lifts along the folds as it wears in. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, avoid swimming or soaking it, and if it gets wet, let it air-dry away from direct heat.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit.
