On cowhide that gives a smooth, close surface with a low sheen and a hand that gives immediately — there is no break-in period, the strap sits to the wrist from the first wearing. Being soft, it takes a mark more readily than a pressed grain like Epsom, which is why it is lined and edged to hold its shape. Choose it if you want a strap that already feels worn in on day one.

FAQ

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make this nappa leather strap in pairs from 12 to 24 mm (for example 20/18 or 22/20 mm) and in lengths from 105/65 mm to 135/105 mm for wrists of roughly 14.5 to 22.5 cm. Longer and other custom sizes are made to measure. See our size guide for step-by-step help.

How do I care for a nappa leather strap?

Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Nappa is soft and can take a mark, so keep it away from sharp edges where you can. Avoid swimming or soaking the strap; if it gets wet, blot it and let it air-dry away from direct heat. A little neutral conditioner a few times a year keeps it supple.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit. Orders over $350 ship free.
