Chocolate brown saddle stitching runs the full edge, the edge is painted chocolate brown and the keeper is cut from chocolate brown alligator — a sporty, high-contrast strap for a chronograph or a racing-inspired steel watch.

A soft lining sits against the wrist, and the edges are finished by hand. Every strap is made in the size, buckle and finishing you specify, and nothing is cut until those are set. Free engraving of up to 12 characters on the lining is available.

Specification

Material

Genuine alligator leather

Colour

Black

Profile

Flat

Style

Rally — small racing holes

Underlay

Chocolate Brown, seen through the holes

Stitching

Chocolate Brown, saddle-stitched by hand

Edge / keeper

Painted chocolate brown / chocolate brown alligator keeper

Lug width

12–24 mm, in pairs — custom sizes made to measure

Length

105/65 – 135/105 mm, or your own measurement

Made in

Ha Noi, Vietnam

About alligator

Alligator is graded by how even its tiles run and how clean the belly section is; ours is cut so the scales narrow gradually down the taper rather than breaking mid-strap. It darkens and gains lustre where it is handled most.

FAQ

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make this alligator rally strap in pairs from 12 to 24 mm (for example 20/18 or 22/20 mm) and in lengths from 105/65 to 135/105 mm for wrists of roughly 14.5 to 22.5 cm. Custom sizes and longer lengths are made to measure. See our size guide for step-by-step help.

How do I care for an alligator strap?

Wipe the scales with a soft, dry cloth, working along the scale pattern. Keep the strap away from soaking, swimming and direct heat, which can dull the finish and stiffen the hide; if it gets wet, blot it and let it air-dry naturally. Rotating it with another strap and storing it flat helps it keep its shape.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit. Orders over $350 ship free.
