Cut, edged and finished by hand as a single piece of work, from the first cut to the final burnish. Because the pattern belongs to the hide, no two straps are identical — the product photos show the exact piece you are buying.

Cut flat and slim so it sits close to the wrist and slides easily under a cuff. A soft Zermatt lining sits against the wrist. Every strap is cut and stitched to the size, buckle and finishing you specify. Free engraving of up to 12 characters on the lining is available.

Specification

Material

Genuine stingray

Colour

Navy

Profile

Flat

Stitching

None — stitchless construction

Edge

Hand-finished to match the leather

Buckle

Stainless steel, silver as pictured, or your choice

Lug width

12–24 mm, in pairs — custom sizes made to measure

Length

105/65 – 135/105 mm, or your own measurement

Thickness

Made to your specification

Made in

Ha Noi, Vietnam

About stingray

Stingray is the hardest leather we work with. Each bead on the surface is a calcified plate, which is why the hide resists scuffs and water in a way calfskin cannot, and why it takes a full day to cut and edge a single strap. The grain never flattens and never creases: a stingray strap looks the same in year five as it did on the first day. Vintage finishing removes the lacquer sheen and leaves the beads matte, so the pattern shows as relief rather than glare.

FAQ

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make this stingray strap in pairs from 12 to 24 mm (for example 20/18 or 22/20 mm) and in lengths from 105/65 to 135/105 mm for wrists of roughly 14 to 22.5 cm. Custom sizes are made to measure. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and brush dust from between the beads. Avoid soaking the strap; if it gets wet, blot it and let it air-dry away from direct heat.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit.
