Dark Green Lizard Leather Watch Strap — 100% handcrafted in our workshop in Ha Noi.

A padded strap in a deep bottle green — dark and pure, with no blue or teal in it, the colour of a wine bottle held up to the light. This is the plain, full-colour cut of the lizard hide — one even colour across the whole strap, with none of the dark natural spotting that lizard skin can carry towards its edges — so the scales read as a clean, uniform texture. On lizard it works better than on a smooth calf, because the scales break the tone into hundreds of small facets and the colour never flattens out into a block. The padding gives the band a clean shoulder at the lug and a little height over the case, which suits a larger watch. White saddle stitching runs the full length, in the classic straight-stitch pattern we use on every dress strap.

Lined with Zermatt, a soft, water-resistant lining that stays comfortable against the wrist. Edges are sanded, creased and hand-painted in 3–5 coats. Every strap is made to order: send us your lug width, the length of each half and the buckle finish, and we cut it to your wrist. Free engraving of up to 12 characters on the lining — a name, initials or a date.

About Lizard

Lizard skin is prized for the density of its scales: hundreds of tiny, tightly packed plates that catch light individually, so the strap seems to shift colour as your wrist turns. Because each skin is small, only the centre panel is usable for a strap, and a matched pair of halves has to come from the same hide. It is more delicate than alligator — keep it out of standing water — but it wears beautifully and develops a soft sheen along the fold lines.

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make this lizard strap in pairs from 12 to 24 mm (for example 20/18 or 22/20 mm) and in standard lengths from 105/65 mm to 135/105 mm, for wrists of roughly 14.5 to 22.5 cm; longer lengths are made to measure. How do I care for a lizard strap?

Lizard is thin and fine-scaled, so treat it like a dress strap: wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, keep it away from water, sweat-heavy workouts and direct heat, and if it gets wet, blot it and let it air-dry naturally. Storing it flat between wears helps the scales stay smooth.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit. Orders over $350 ship free. Any import duties are the customer's responsibility.
