What lug width means
The gap between your watch’s lugs, in millimetres. Your strap has to match it exactly.
20 / 18 mm = 20 mm at the watch, 18 mm at the buckle. Only the first number has to match your watch.

Measure it yourself
A millimetre ruler is all you need — the strap can stay on.

Bring a ruler to the lugs — hold the watch face up and lay a millimetre ruler across the gap, where the strap meets the case.

Read inner edge to inner edge — round to the nearest whole millimetre. 19.6 is a 20.
Three easy mistakes
Case size isn’t lug width. 38–44 mm is the whole watch, not the gap.
Measure the inside edges. The outside edges add a few millimetres.
Lug-to-lug is a different number. Tip to tip, usually 38–52 mm — not for strap width.

Buckle width
Every strap comes with a buckle — skip this unless you’re keeping your own. It’s the 18 in 20 / 18 mm.
How to measure it: measure across the inside of the buckle frame and add it to your order note.
Strap length
The long end has the holes, the short end has the buckle. 125 / 75 mm = 125 mm long, 75 mm short.

Wrap a soft tape — or a paper strip — just above the wrist bone. Snug, not tight. Find your number below.

Wrist in inches? Multiply by 2.54 to get centimetres.
Fine-tuning
Watch over 44 mm → one size shorter.
Like it loose → one size longer.
Between two sizes → take the larger, or choose Custom.
Questions
Do you make odd widths like 17, 19 or 21 mm?
Yes — they're in the width list, cut to the same standard as the even sizes.
My watch measures 19.5 mm. What do I order?
Measure once more from inner edge to inner edge — it is almost certainly 20. If it really sits between two sizes, choose Custom and we'll cut to your number.
What if my buckle end needs to be narrower?
That's normal — most straps taper. Pick the pair that matches both numbers, like 20 / 18 mm, or choose Custom for an unusual taper.
Top of the lugs or bottom?
On almost every watch the gap is the same all the way down. Measure where the strap sits, close to the case.
Tight or loose when I measure my wrist?
Snug — flat against the skin, not pulled tight. The chart already allows for a comfortable fit.

Can you make a size that isn't listed?
