Bespoke Watch Strap — your design, made by hand.

With this many choices in front of you, let your own taste lead. Build a strap that belongs to exactly one watch and one wrist: yours. Leather, colour, stitch, edge, buckle, engraving — every one of them is your call, not ours.

Each strap is cut, skived, stitched and burnished by hand in our Hanoi workshop. Nothing is made until you order it, and nothing is made twice.

Choose the leather — Epsom, Togo, Swift, Lizard, Alligator and more.
Define the fit — lug width, length, thickness and lining.
Finish the details — stitch style & colour, buckle finish, edge colour, engraving.

Nothing is cut until the order is placed. Tell us straight away if any detail needs changing, while the strap is still on the bench.

FAQ

Which leathers can I choose?

Regular leathers include Epsom, Togo, Swift, Babele and Nappa calfskin, full-grain and waxed cowhide, goatskin, Italian bull and the hand-dyed XILUGS Signature Patina. Exotic options include alligator, ostrich, ostrich leg, lizard, beaver tail, shark and stingray. Regular leather starts from $69 and exotics from $105.

Which lug width and length should I order?

Measure the gap between your watch lugs in millimetres; that is your lug width. We make custom straps in pairs from 12 to 24 mm and in lengths from 105/65 to 135/105 mm for wrists of roughly 14 to 22.5 cm, with custom sizes made to measure. See our size guide for step-by-step help.

How long does delivery to the US take?

Every strap is cut and stitched to order in our Ha Noi workshop in 3–5 business days, then ships to the US for a flat $5.99 with 10–12 days in transit. Orders over $350 ship free. Any import duties are the customer's responsibility. Custom and engraved straps cannot be returned unless faulty.

Lug & Buckle Width

Lug width is the gap between the two lugs of your watch case, where the strap fits. Your strap has to match it exactly.

Most watches are 18, 20 or 22 mm. Measure inner edge to inner edge with a ruler — or flip your old strap over: the width is often printed inside.

Our sizes read lug / buckle: 20 / 18 mm is 20 mm at the watch, 18 mm at the buckle. Only the first number has to match your watch.

Buckle width

The width of the strap where the buckle sits — the second number in our sizes. 20 / 18 mm means 18 mm at the buckle.

Every strap comes with a matching buckle. Keeping your own? Measure across the inside of its frame and choose Custom.

Strap Length Guide

Every strap has two parts: the long end with the holes and the short end with the buckle. 115 / 70 mm means 115 mm long, 70 mm short.

Wrap a soft tape — or a paper strip — just above the wrist bone. Snug, not tight. Then find your size below.

Straight or curved end?

This is the end of the strap that meets your watch case.

Straight end — cut straight across. Fits almost any watch; a small gap at the case is normal.

The underside is lined with soft, water-resistant Zermatt — comfortable against the skin all day, and in warm weather.

Initials or a name, hand-stamped into the lining free of charge, so the piece on your wrist is one of one.

Every strap arrives in a wooden box

No envelopes, no plastic mailers. Every XILUGS order ships in our own wooden box, lined with a shock-absorbing foam insert that holds up to four straps securely in place. A spring bar tool is tucked inside, so you can fit your new strap the day it arrives, and the box keeps your collection safe long after.
